Flamingos and Mermaids and Pirates, Oh My!

Pirate Fest and Mermaid Splash are back this year for another weekend of fun. On Saturday October 21st from 11 AM – 9 PM and Sunday October 22nd 11 AM – 6 PM, the community will come together for exciting shows and amazing crafts. Part of what I love so much about the event is how it gives artists from many disciplines the chance to connect with each other and people who are there to enjoy the show. The gallery will be open extended business hours, 10 AM – 5 PM on Saturday and 10 AM - 5 PM on Sunday so please stop in and say hello!

For this week’s entry and the upcoming weekend I wanted to share some of my latest works from a series I call Flamingo Party. With the same beauty and jubilant nature of the mermaids, these paintings, scarves, pillows and more capture the spirit of the people who come out to make the weekend unforgettable.
