Dear friends!

I wanted to wish you all a happy holiday and a very happy New Year!

I am humbled and grateful for your continued support which makes a profound difference in the art I am able to produce. We really depend on word of mouth referrals and walk in customers, so thank you for sharing about us. This year has been both rewarding and challenging! James and I had an amazing collaboration with Saks 5th Ave at the Gardens Mall in Palm Beach, an awesome trip to England, and I had an overwhelmingly successful show and opening at the newly renovated Cornell Museum. The work I debuted in that show has created a buzz which is especially rewarding as the collection is my heart. I am excited that the collection will be traveling and will announce its new show location at the start of the New Year.

The reception has been a blessing but that doesn’t change the fact that retail is crazy right now and the market is changing fast. I listen to and read everything I can get my hands on and adapt however I can while trying to stay true to my beliefs. We are looking to sustain the Amanda James Gallery as a brick and mortar business because I really believe in touching and looking at art firsthand. In my honest view, it's the best way to identify quality, texture and true color.

My final piece of good news we’d like to share is that this will be the first year we are participating in Delray Beach Fashion Week! We are doing something super fabulous and special so be sure to buy your tickets soon if you'll be in town January 25th for the Designer Fashion Show 7 Hair Show which starts 7pm at the Arts Garage. As always, my studio is open in Artists Alley, Delray Beach every first Friday for Art Walk and I invite you all to come see my process! The world is crazy right now but despite an uneasy political climate and ever changing future I choose to keep my head up and look to the stars!
