Leaping Into Spring
What a whirlwind it has been!
Somehow February and March has been booked solid. We have Art Walk in Delray Beach, The Spring Boutique for Wayside and the all-women group show opening this Saturday March 3rd at Armand Bolling Fine Art.
In the realm of fun, James and I had a chance to see our friend John Waters do his act at a Fort Lauderdale Church of all places this past weekend and I can't recommend enough seeing him on stage. He’s witty, funny, ruthless and brilliant.
In the studio we had the expert help of Leitner for the trunk show and took lots of special custom dress orders for new and older clients. The gallery has been busy and that is due in great part to our amazing clients and they're continued passion for our work. We have been selling everything from James’ beautiful landscapes and t-shirts to some of my larger paintings and fabulous crowns! One of the privileges of our success has been the gift to make a healthy donation to Wayside House thanks to our supporters!
All this work and fun has taken a toll and I am now on my second day in bed nursing a cold. As I recoup and prepare for what's ahead, I have immersed myself in Dave Chapelle’s new Netflix stand up. I find him to be so honest, funny, cutting and smart; I highly recommend it.
I have also been memorized by Anna May Wong, a blast from the past, who was a talented and beautiful actress and the first Chinese-American film star who is already inspiring new work in me.

I know life is hectic and it's hard to find time but we need to treat ourselves every once in a while!
