Fairy Tale Sets, Cozy Pillows, and Gallery Blue Door

September is always a fun and busy month for James and I as we both celebrate our birthdays and our wedding anniversary (this year is number four!) all while prepping for season. It’s tempting to look back on your birthday and think of everything that has happened since. I like to look back, find what I’m grateful for in the past year, and then set my scope for how I’m moving forward.

The summer has given me a lot of time to update my site with new pieces and art. The big news is I have stopped selling wholesale pillows, enabling me to lower my retail prices online and in the Amanda James Gallery. I’ve always loved fairy tales and storybooks so with a new collection of hand painted platters, trays and powder room sets I pay tribute to my favorites. Like I said, there’s a lot of new work on the site and you can count on even more coming so keep and eye out for updates!

James and I are also prepping some of these new pieces for the drive up to Mt. Vernon in Baltimore, Maryland for my Grand Illusions Part I exhibit at the Gallery Blue Door.
